Track Listing

On any given Sunday in the U.S. you can come through the sanctuary doors of churches and hear the joyful noise of choirs ministering to parishioners, and preparing hearts for the word of God. In Winston-Salem, NC, Jehovah Shammah Gospel recording artist Anthony Jones & The UWF Mass Choir have been commissioned to take their ministry from the confines of the local assembly, and to the world with the release of their debut recording “The Hour Has Come and Now Is”.

Scheduled for a November 8, 2005 national release through Central South Distribution, Inc., this 11-song collection is a masterful blend of praise, worship, traditional, and contemporary gospel that is crafted to minister to the whole body of Christ. The debut, single is the landmark ballad “God’s Favor”. Never has a song invoked such an outpouring of admiration in the Carolinas and abroad, since the run away hit “Praise Is What I Do”. The melody: contagious. The message: prophetic. The response: monumental. God’s Favor is currently in heavy rotation at the SGN “The Light” radio network.

“The Hour Has Come & Now Is” also contains ten additional recordings that are certain to become mainstays in the repertoire of gospel choirs around the world. “I Believe”, an undisputable contemporary hit, is being compared to the trailblazer of contemporary mass choir music Hezekiah Walker. The album also ministers with exuberant songs of praise “Be Glad & Rejoice”, and “The Steadfast Love of the Lord”. Not to be outdone by two Sunday morning blockbusters “Breakthrough” and “Put It Back”. Listeners will be ushered into the presence of the Lord, by renowned worship leader and co-producer, Matthew Kelly in a worship medley comprised of two songs: “You Are Welcome In This Place” and “Send The Rain”.

Anthony Jones is a highly sought after worship leader and clinician, widely known for his anointed delivery and attention to excellence in ministry. Jones and the UWFMC have ministered throughout the Carolinas, and have been featured as the only choir invited to perform at the 3rd Annual Back to Holiness Artists Showcase, hosted by Donnie McClurkin. Jones was also a featured artist at the 3rd Annual Nation Changing Conference held in Bermuda.

The goal of this project is to invoke the presence of the Lord wherever it is played or ministered. This is not a project where the listener merely skips around from track to track. God has so orchestrated this project that the listener is immediately apprehended and lead through a total praise and worship experience that culminates in the prophetic declaration “The Hour Has Come And Now Is”.
